Why Dexter?
Dexters are Britain's smallest native cattle. They're small, hardy, happy on rough ground and cheap to keep. That's exactly what we want from a farm truck.
Each Dexter is a nearly new Japanese-market farm truck, six to twelve months old with delivery miles only. We pick them at auction, check them against the auction sheet and make them ready for British work.
Who we are
25 years with spanners
We started as agricultural engineers, fixing tractors and farm kit. Then we trained as car technicians, and for years now we have imported vehicles from Japan through Mendip Autoserve in Pylle.
That mix is the point. We know what a farm needs from a truck, we know what goes wrong with them, and we know how to buy well at a Japanese auction. Every Dexter is checked and prepared in our own workshop before it leaves.

Yard to top field
Feed round, fencing, muck and kit.
Drop the sides and load bales, fence posts, feed bags or the dog. It carries 350 kg, has a proper cab for the rain, and is road legal on UK plates.
